With everyday use, you can expect your Zap Electric Vehicle's battery pack to last about 3 years before you would need to consider replacing it. Xebra batteries are about $2000 to replace.
How long has Zap been around?
Zap started in 1994 selling electric bikes and scooters. It is certainly one of the longest standing electric vehicle companies today. The Xebra sedan and truck were first sold in small quantities in 2006.
How much will my power bill go up?
At around 5 cents a mile to drive, it's quite possible you wouldn't notice a difference in your power bill, unless you were driving everyday. With the added perks of being able to charge at work, or while you're out the impact on your power bill is even less.
